Terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all purchase orders submitted to Buer Gallery’s web shop, buergallery.no. I ask you to read these terms and conditions before submitting an order. These terms and conditions may be updated and vary from time to time. When a customer places a purchase order, the customer agrees and consents to these Terms & Conditions.

You must be at least 18 years of age to shop at buergallery.no.

The art are in the artist’s own possession, are sold in the author’s own name and mediated by Buer Gallery as an intermediary.

All prices at buergallery.no are subject to change without notice. All merchandise will be billed at the prices in effect at the time of ordering.

Buer Gallery is not bound by any incorrect price information which the customer evidently or reasonably should have understood as incorrect, and which may have emerged due to technical faults.

For all works of art with a sale price of NOK 2,000 or more, a BKH tax of 5% is added in regulations to the Art Tax Act 1 (kunstavgiftloven 1) . All glass art in circulation will include VAT. 

Payment is possible in the currency NOK. Available payment options are credit or debit cards, or Bambora invoice/partial payment. The payment will be deducted when the order is placed in the webshop or in the physical gallery.

Please note that I am unable to accept gift cards, merchandise cards, cash or cheques as payment in the web shop.

Buer Gallery accepts and processes the purchase orders in the order that they are submitted to the web shop. The gallery only option is pick-up in the gallery, but is helpful in recommending shipping companies / art transport. If the art is sent / transported with the gallery’s not approved companies, the customer must insure the art himself and that the gallery is not responsible for damages.

The shipping price will be communicated to the customer and will be added to the invoice.

The consumer can withdraw from the agreement without giving any reason within 14 days after the service provider has fulfilled its duty to provide information in accordance with the Right of Withdrawal Act and the item and right of withdrawal form has been received, or after 1 year if information about the right of withdrawal has not been provided. The consumer must notify the service provider if the right of withdrawal is used. The deadline is considered complied with if the message is sent before the deadline expires. There are no formal requirements for the message, but should be in writing for evidentiary reasons. If the conditions for the right of withdrawal are met, the service provider is obliged to reimburse all actual costs charged to the consumer. However, return costs must be paid by the consumer. Items to be made especially for the consumer (order work)

When the item is made especially for the consumer, there is usually a 14-day right of withdrawal, but so that the withdrawal period expires no later than 3 months after receipt of the item.
It can be agreed that production begins before the expiry of the withdrawal period. This must be agreed before the purchase and after all other significant information has been provided by the seller, including information about the right of withdrawal.

If you use the right of withdrawal in such cases, the buyer must cover costs for work actually performed and materials used.

If the received item has errors or defects, the buyer can assert a number of defect rights (eg to withhold the purchase price, correct re-delivery, price reduction, cancellation and compensation) according to the Purchase Act, cf. §§30 et seq. However, this presupposes that the buyer reacts within certain deadlines. In consumer purchases, the complaint deadline is basically two years after the buyer received the item. Notification must be given to the seller within a reasonable time after the buyer discovered or should have discovered the defect. There are no formal requirements for complaints, but for reasons of appeal, the notification should be given in writing. It should be stated in the notification (complaint) which deficiencies the buyer wishes to assert. In the event of complaints, the service provider shall bear all costs associated with the purchase, including the costs of return transport.

If you have further questions about complaints, you can contact tonje@buergallery.no. Buer Gallery AS reserves the right to suspend operations caused by conditions beyond our control, including technical problems, including, but not limited to, power outages, congestion and sabotage.

You have an open purchase with a full right of return within 14 days. You get the money back if you do not want to exchange the item for a new one. When using the Right of Withdrawal Act, it is the customer’s responsibility to cover return shipping. Return procedure
A return slip was included with the package with information on how to proceed and what information we need from you.

If the reason for return is damage, you must enclose a damage report filled out carrier.
Return the item in the original packaging.

Buer Gallery process your return as soon as possible, but please note that returns may take between one to three weeks to process


Buer Gallery ensures that all products are meticulously checked and quality controlled before being dispatched to our customers. The customer is always responsible for inspecting the merchandise upon receipt. The defect must have existed when the products came into your possession. The customer shall notify Buer Gallery in writing within 10 DAYS of the customer’s receipt of the merchandise. The claim can be made to tonje@buergallery.no. Please include your order reference number in the email subject line.

If the damaged item followed an order containing other purchased items, the cost of the original delivery will not be repaid.

I will return your funds as soon as possible. Always save your receipt. The funds will be returned to your account according to your original method of payment.
